General Terms and Conditions Kickies

1.     The general terms and conditions are applicable to all agreements concerning online orders between Kickies and the client.

2.     Kickies maintains the right to alter these general terms and conditions and the content of the website at all times.

3.     With the placement of an order the client is obligated, without reservation, to agree to the general terms of delivery.

4.     The photos of our shoes that are sold via our online shop are made with the greatest of care. They serve as an illustration only and, therefore, no claims can be made. Sometimes it will not be possible to order the colour of the shoes shown in the photo. This is in the case of a sample pair. It is also possible that other small changes have occurred.

5.     The prices, quoted with the articles, are in Pounds and include Dutch VAT (21%). Delivery costs are not included in the quoted price.

6.     We shall not be held accountable for the consequences of any type (setting) and / or programming or program faults in its website. No claims can be made for incorrect information regarding prices.

7.     Special offer prices are only valid as long as stocks last and for the advertised duration for explanation

8.     Payment is made via the following payment methods:

o    via Credit card or Visa card.

o    via PayPal.

o    via MisterCash.

o    via GiroPay.

o    via Ideal.

o    Advance payment (transfer) via bank transfer.

9.     The order will only be sent once the full payment is made.

10.   Should the payment fail to be finalized within three days, the order will be cancelled.

11.   Depending on the size of the order and the country code, a delivery charge will be included in the amount payable.

12.   In the event of an exchange / return of articles, the client must pay the delivery costs for the return.

13.   In the event of an exchange, Kickies will pay the cost of re-sending the article to the customer once only.

14.   Kickies employs Post NL to make all home deliveries.
Orders are sent via Post NL and local carriers. The standard delivery will be done using a small package box that will fit through the letterbox. The Gift box (more luxurious package) requires the receiver to sign for delivery. For more information see the Delivery page on the website

15.   Kickies strives to send the order within 10 business days from receiving payment.

16.   Kickies shall do everything possible to send the accepted orders as soon as possible. Should a delay occur in delivery due either to the temporary lack of stock or otherwise, or in the event that an order cannot or only partly be processed, the client will be notified of this accordingly. In this event, the client retains the right to cancel the remaining order in writing.

17.   Kickies is not liable for any resulting damages suffered by the client should the order be delivered to an address incorrectly supplied by the client.

18.   It is possible to cancel an order if this is done within 24 hours of placing the order and on the condition the order has not yet been sent. Notification of a cancellation is only possible via the mail.

19.   It is possible to exchange or return an article if it does not meet the client’s expectations. Delivery costs and delivery-related risks of returning an article are for the client’s own account.

20.   The following conditions apply in event of exchanges and / or returns:

o    Exchanges or returns of articles must occur within 10 days of the order delivery. After this period, the sale can no longer be dissolved and is final.

o    The goods must be in their original state, i.e. not worn and returned in the original packaging.

o    The invoice (or a copy of the invoice) must be completed and returned with the articles.

o    Insufficient postage-paid returns or non postage-paid returns will not be accepted by Kickies, regardless the reason for the return.

o    In the event of an exchange of an article, Kickies will pay the cost of re-sending the article to the customer once only.

o    In the event of a return (the dissolved sale of 1 or more articles), the amount to be reimbursed (excluding the delivery cost) will be transferred to the client within 30 days.

21.   All shoes are made by hand and per order. Please keep in mind that due to our high production standards and the amount of work at hand, it can cost a few days to make the baby shoes. If it is abnormally  busy, however, the client will be notified of this by Kickies as soon as possible. In this case, the client retains the right to cancel the order without cost. Kickies will reimburse the payment made in this case.

22.   Kickies guarantees that the supplied goods conform to the usual requirements and norms that may be expected of them, and are free from any flaw whatsoever.

23.   The guarantee is valid for a period of 6 months after delivery.

24.   As evidence in relation to the guarantee, the client will receive an itemized invoice from Kickies as a proof of purchase.

25.   In the event that the supplied goods do not comply with these guarantees, Kickies will, within a reasonable period of receiving the faulty article, and after having been notified in writing of the fault by the client, in the case where a return is not reasonably possible, either choose to replace the article or see to their repair. In the event of replacement, the client is obliged to return the replaced goods to Kickies and to bestow their ownership to Kickies

26.   This guarantee is not valid in the case where a flaw occurred as a result of a lack of judgment or improper use or, without the written permission of Kickies., alterations were made, or attempted to be made to the goods, by the client or a third party, or either if these were employed for purposes for which the goods were not meant.

27.   In the event where the supplied goods do not conform to what was agreed upon, and where this non-conformity is a shortcoming applicable to product liability, then Kickies is not liable for any damages as a result.

28.   These general terms and conditions concerning guarantee, leave unimpeded the client’s guarantee claims by reason of the law, with due observance of everything with regard to these general terms and conditions and the agreement determined, including the nature and the condition of that which is sold and delivered to the client.

29.   When the manufacturer of a flawed item is liable for the damages, then the liability of Kickies is limited to the reparation or replacement of that item, or either the reimbursement of the purchase price.

30.   The above remaining undiminished, Kickies is not liable should the damage be caused by deliberate and / or serious misconduct and / or reproachable treatment, or either lack of judgment or improper use by the client.

31.   The limitations of liability for direct damages included in these terms and conditions are not valid should the damages be caused by deliberate or serious misconduct by Kickies or its employees.

32.   Your personal details are recorded in the client register of Kickies. Kickies uses your personal details for the execution of an agreement, the maintaining of an accurate client register, risk management and for marketing purposes. Kickies does not provide details to a third party which will affect your privacy. Should the client no longer wish to receive information regarding special offers Kickies, then the client may confirm this via email.

33.   It is not permitted, without written permission, to copy, publish, multiply, or use images and or texts, in another context. A violation will lead to prosecution.
